my heart was full. i had launched ‘beth devitt photography’ in october {2014} not really knowing what to expect, and by the beginning of december {2014}, i couldn’t believe how blessed i had been. it had been a whirlwind couple of months, but i had a blast throughout it all.
i was ready to slow down a little bit and focus on my son’s birthday in mid-december, christmas and visits from both sets of grandparents. and then i got a super sweet email asking if i would be willing to do a family shoot for a family with three little guys who had their grandparents and aunt traveling in from out of state for the holidays. the grandmother’s birthday was december 30th, so it would be a birthday gift for her. speaking from experience {as a gal whose parents and in-laws both live states away}, i knew how special these visits were and how important it was to capture the time together. so, of course, i said yes. and i am so glad that i did.

i realize that i may be slightly biased simply because of the big part that photography plays in my life, but having moments between my children and their grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. captured is a special gift. being asked to be the one to capture those moments to be treasured is a whole new realm of gifts for me. thank you all for allowing me to be a part of such memories!
